There is also a small piece of blue and white sea pottery in the wave (also known as “sea china”, “sea porcelain” or “beach pottery”). It is old pottery that is broken into worn pieces/shards. There’s a funky round shell that I used as the sun.

This is a fun whimsy piece! My first wave!
I made this piece very randomly one evening. I felt the need to “organize” my sea glass by color and size. I was at my art table and had a wooden panel nearby… I started laying pieces on the wooden panel, as if I were working on a puzzle. The wave just started to form naturally and I got lost down the sandy rabbit hole until this beauty emerged. This was a very fun (and very long) process! Lealea (enjoy)!
